I finished a new painting. A VERY Interesting painting. One that I thought I would never do, but it was for a very close friend and a commission/request. Mainly, my agent said very strongly that I had no choice - she demanded it!!!! Alas, my friend - I would do anything for him and his family. Horses. I have never drawn and or painted a horse. Well there is a first time for everything. My friend lives in Paris and I will ship it soon. It's finished. Impressionistic, if that is a word - Impressio...

Deux Femmes

150 x 135 cm

Huile sur Lin (Oil on Linen)

A more Picasso-ish foray into this style of painting. I'm having fun and I like the colors.

December 28, 2019

It's my latest painting, 147 x 228 cm; 58 x 90".

Adhering to my abstract style I will continue to add complexity and depth and interesting shape and movement to normal "objects". Color and heavy brush strokes with intensity add to the dimensions.

This Painting is 2 x 3 Meters; I used my scaffolding to paint it. It's heavy and large and needs to be moved an mounted on our living room wall at the "Cove". Gonna be interesting.

I do not have a title for this painting. I'm working on it.

For the non-metric people - that is 6.5' x 9.8'

Wow! I'm so impressed by the work of 2 of my 3 grandkids. Izzy, my grand daughter will also be a great artist when she gets a bit older. I can't wait.

But the artwork from Magnus and Andy are fantastic. As you can see.

This page on my site should demonstrate the art critics out there that these 2 kids have talent.
